Ian Sweet is an indie rock/noise pop artist from Los Angeles, California. Her songs convey a sound that feels like the manic phase after a messy break up, where you want to get out and have fun, because you know as soon as you get home you’ll start crying while scrolling through old texts. Her lyrics are emotionally raw, her voice is ethereal, and the instrumentation is a blend of beautiful accompaniments and overwhelming chaos. Incredible album overall.

Fun Fact: While living in Brooklyn, Ian Sweet collected Holographic Jesus posters she purchased from the 99 cent stores in her neighborhood

RIYL: Alvvays, The Blow, or The Pains of Being Pure at Heart.

1.    Starts off slow and grows into a catchy indie track.

2.    Good song that the drummer absolutely carries.

3.    Really nice song for when you want to sway back and forth while holding a lighter.

4.    Pretty good Indie Pop/Rock.

5.    Fun guitar riff and drums.

6.    Fantastic beat in the first half that feels like a lost Radiohead song from Amnesiac.

7.    Pretty good Indie Pop/Rock.

8.    Pretty good Indie Pop/Rock.

9.    FCC: “f**ked”. Great song with some mathy elements and really raw lyrics.

10.  Beautiful composition that would have absolutely dominated the radio in 2006.
